Joseph M. Monks (Cry for Dawn, The Night Terrors, NightCry) and
legendary illustrator Bernie Wrightson (Swamp Thing, DC's House of
Mystery, Spider Man) team up to present a collection of six of
Monks's most disturbing tales to date. Included is the original,
unedited version of TOKENS, one of the most popular stories adapted
in the cult, underground comic book Cry for Dawn. Also contained
in this collection is "Chance Meeting," recently optioned for
theatrical release and filming in Los Angeles in May of '03. Also
among the stories included are "Brutal," a relentless, gut-churning
look into urban gang life and the lengths one will go to get respect
among his peers. Rounding out the collection is the gruesome p0rn,
wherein the world's hottest XXX actress, desperate to make her
escape from the industry, is offered a hideous means of financing
her future.
The hardcover limited edition is signed and numbered to only 1,200 copies by Monks and Wrightson, and contains an illustrated signature bonus plate. The oversized paperback is crammed to the gills with grisly fiction and the art of one of the horror industry's most well-known talents. | ||||||||||
