Mark Rich's jaunty, offbeat stories have appeared in everything from
small humor and literary 'zines to the slick pages of science
fiction monthlies.
Mark's first collection of short stories, Lifting, won the
Leslie Cross Award. He has published three books on toys, including
the dictionary-style compendium, Toys A to Z, pend the
occasional drawing, such as the ones found in this chapbook, and
leads the rock band Mad Melancholy Monkey Mind, whose first CD,
Drive, came out in 2002. He lives in central Wisconsin with
partner and fellow musician Martha Borchardt. They have no pets.
