Given its size, there is sparse space in Wicked Hollow for advertisements. As such, you can feel certain your ad will be noticed by Wicked Hollow's readers. In addition to mail order and through the website, Wicked Hollow is also sold through Project Pulp, Shocklines, Clarkesworld, Kayleighbug, and is carried in the San Francisco based Borderlands Books. Each issue is printed to a limited quantity of 200 copies, each signed and numbered by editor & publisher Jon Hodges, and as a consequence the magazine has begun to become a collectible.
Interior advertisements in Wicked Hollow are sold on an individual basis. Because of the magazine's size, layout becomes mostly unpredictable. Layout is not done around advertisements such as is present in many publications, but instead advertisements are inserted where there's room left after initial layout. If the ad you've purchased won't fit in the next issue, you will have the option of receiving a full refund or having it appear in the following installment.
Rates are negotiable depending upon various circumstances and potential trades with other publications or resources will be considered, but are generally as follows:
1/4 Page Ad: $6
1/2 Page Ad: $12
Full Page Interior: $25
Back Cover: $40
Please contact Jon Hodges, Publisher & Editor of Wicked Hollow Magazine if you're interested in purchasing an ad in a future installment of Wicked Hollow or to receive any further information. Expect Wicked Hollow's readers to be intelligent, discerning, enlightened, and curious. They are most often readers interested in horror, fantasy, music, and related fields.
